Why we made a cocktail smoker kit.
Parlor Ember started with a simple idea: a cocktail smoker should feel at home on a well-set bar. Easy to learn, satisfying to use, and good-looking enough to leave out.
The idea
What happens before the first sip.
A smoked cocktail starts before the first sip. You see the smoke move through the glass. You catch the wood aroma. For a few seconds, making the drink becomes part of the evening.
That is the part we care about. The kit should help you create the moment without turning the drink into a performance or a project.
The object
A kit we wanted to keep on the bar.
We kept coming back to the same test: would this earn a place on the bar? Every piece had to be easy to understand, comfortable to use, and ready when friends came over.
The wood case keeps the smoker top, refillable torch, six natural wood varieties, whiskey stones, spoon, and brush together in one place.
We wanted the kit to feel like part of the bar, not another gadget to hide in a drawer.
